Google Maps is ??????? ???????? ????adding functionality that'll help folks deal with weather-related road issues while driving.
This week, Android Police spotted that Google Maps added new report-types — flooded road, low visibility, and unplowed road — aimed at helping drivers navigate or avoid dangerous weather problems. In other words, you'll be able to report these sorts of incidents to Google Maps similar to how drivers report police presence, a stalled vehicle, or other such issues that pop up while they're using Google's navigation tool.
SEE ALSO: Waze's killer feature finally coming to Google MapsThe tech website reported that the new feature, for the time-being, is being rolled out only to Google Maps for Android Auto and the Google Maps app for iPhone users. It's likely it'll be available to Android users soon.
