If you're not already following I've Pet That Dog's Twitter account, I feel sorry for you -- I really do -- because I've Pet That Dog is the daily dose of pure joy everyone needs.

Gideon Kidd, the 9-year-old curator of the account, generously shares pictures of all the dogs he pets, along with charming anecdotes and observations of each good dog.

We've fawned over Kidd's account before, but we've decided to create a round up of our favorite pettings. These are the best tweets from I've Pet That Dog in no particular order because you can't compare these pure-hearted canines. It just wouldn't be right.
