Tired of losing your AirPods???? ? ?? Well this new design will never fall behind your couch — or fit in your ear, for that matter.
Of course, this absolutely ginormous 10-inch AirPod is not made by Apple, but instead by Aaron B, who shared his creation to Reddit's r/MildlyInteresting on Tuesday. The base was 3D-printed while the realistic mesh for the interior of the pod was made out of a basic window screen. And I must say, the exaggerated size really highlights the AirPod's hairdryer physique.

Building the replica was a bit of an undertaking. Aaron explained to Mashable that it took about five hours to model it, then another 15 hours to print it using a 3D printer. Despite this, Aaron called the build "pretty simple," and offered his CAD model incase anyone else wants to try their hand at it. But the best part of this giant AirPod is that it is fully functioning. Not only does it look hilarious, but it's able to play music via Bluetooth as well.
"I got the idea from someone who made one a few years ago," Aaron told Mashable. "Theirs was made in a similar way (3D printed housing and Bluetooth speaker electronics inside), but that model was a bit rough from scaling it up so much."
"Sadly, due to several different reasons, I cannot sell these," Aaron wrote in a comment on Reddit. "But it would be cool!"
And while there was no particular reason for why he chose to specifically create the left earbud, Aaron wrote in a comment that he's currently planning on creating the right-side model."
Here's hoping for some more modern surround sound pop art projects.
