You might not expect Macklemore to be videos of women that are having sexat the centre of a political tussle, but then again, it is Australia.
The pop star has been at the centre of criticism from "angry old white dudes" due to his planned performance of "Same Love" at the National Rugby League grand final on Saturday.

Well, Macklemore can probably thank those haters, because "Same Love" has shot up to #1 on the Australian iTunes charts.

Of course, "Same Love" touches on the topic of same-sex marriage, which Australia is currently having its say on through a postal vote.
