Twelve Los Angeles professional sports organizations – the Angels, Angel City FC, Chargers, Clippers, Dodgers, Ducks, Galaxy, LAFC, Kings, Lakers, Rams and Sparks – in partnership with the teams’ own foundations joined forces with Fanatics and the Fanatics Foundation on Jan. 17 to distribute $3 million worth of merchandise to Angelenos who have been evacuated from their homes.
The teams also collectively contributed thousands of essential items including apparel, personal hygiene kits, school supplies and sneakers that will be given out at three venues.
Resource fairs and distribution took place at three locations – Dodger Stadium, SoFi Stadium and BMO Stadium – and also provided evacuated families with access to representatives from organizations who offer support as they rebuild.
