It's a super scary time for men,sentual sex videos according to our president. But one musician is out to prove just how ridiculous of an idea this is with her latest song.
On Monday, Lynzy Lab tweeted a video of herself singing an anthem for all of the scared men and boys. "It's a really scary time for dudes right now. So I wrote a song about it. Go #votefriends! #TheResistance#1Thing@ACLU@WC4SJ#letsmakesomenoise," she wrote.

In her song, which now has more than 75,000 retweets and 149,000 likes, Lab describes some of the many difficulties women face, like being afraid to wear mini skirts, not being able to ride public transportation alone after 7pm, and being uncomfortable leaving a drink unattended — but she really does sympathize with all the nervous men out there...
"It's really scary when your name's on the line and any woman you've assaulted could show up any time," Lab sings. "Yeah it sure is a scary time for guys, can't speak to any woman or look her in the eyes. It's so confusing, is it rape or is it just being nice? So inconvenient that you even have to think twice."
Of course, the song is satirical. If the resistance hashtag didn't already tip you off.
Lab ends the song with a final verse, pointing out how it is notsuch a scary time for boys, and encourages women to go out and vote in the midterms: "Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, cause it's not such a scary time for boys, they've always had the upper hand, they've always had a choice. It's time for women to rise up, use our collective voice, the day to vote's November sixth, so let's make some noise."
People on Twitter (including Mark Ruffalo!) have been praising Lab's song for its sharp and pointed message.

Clearly the song has struck a chord with a lot of people and is managing to share a thoughtful and witty message, that for some reason still needs to be reiterated.
