But not Vice President Mike Pence.
Pence and his wife Karen were in attendance for the Parade of Nations as competing athletes of the world filed in. Athletes from North and South Korea entered together, wearing matching outfits and waving flags. The stadium erupted in cheers for the symbolic show of unity.
As everyone stood, the Pences sat the whole thing out.

Seems like it was only yesterday that Mike Pence orchestrated a complicated scheme to attend an NFL game, and leave in outrage when players took a knee during the national anthem.
Those were the days.

Of course, it's a bit apples and oranges to compare North Korea's human rights record/global nuclear threats and the NFL protesting America's systematic racial biases. But there's still enough crossover to make the vice president seem pretty hypocritical.
